Darcey Bone

I was in my early 40’s when I discovered mindfulness and meditation.  At the time, I was struggling with anxiety and self-critical thoughts.  I wasn’t happy.  Though mindfulness classes and developing my meditation practice, I feel like a different person.  My struggles with anxiety and self-criticism aren’t all gone, but I finally feel like me!  My practice isn’t perfect, but it is perfect for me.  I have found a self-acceptance and healing I didn’t think possible.  These tools and techniques work and I am so blessed to be able to share them with others.

I spent my early career in the non-profit sector with a passion for making a difference.  After my twins were born (they are now 14), I was lucky to be able to stay home with them as a full-time mom. In 2008, my husband and I purchased a business and moved to Oregon City.  Here we found a community that we love. My community grew with Hamsa Meditation Center.  And I look forward to continuing to work with Caren and the other teachers to grow my own practice and help others with theirs.
